Hays Education recruitment are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to join their growing database. Great opportunities are available for daily to weekly to long-term vacancies within a range of primary schools and Early Years provisions. You will work alongside a supportive school team to ensure a safe learning environment is provided for all students.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to offer support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and also in small groups both academically and emotionally.

Your new role

• Assist in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
• Ensuring all children are engaged in learning and activities
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the teaching team
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Be comfortable assisting with personal care such as nappy changes
• Support children in managing their behaviour and emotions

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of safeguarding
• DBS
• Experience in an educational setting/working with children
• Qualifications would be beneficial
• Full right to work in the UK
• Compassionate and patient
