Teaching Assistants - West Lancashire Primary Schools - January Start
Your new company
At Hays, we are always looking to provide multiple schools across the West Lancshire area with committed and reliable Teaching Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1 and KS2. We have recently seen an increase in demand for this particular job role, and we are looking for hard-working individuals to work 5 days a week and fill these roles. These roles are available for an immediate start and are across both mainstream and SEN schools. There are positions available on a long-term basis through until summer, but there is also the option to do day-to-day or short-term roles depending on your needs.
Your new role
As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2, during lessons in a group or 1:1 setting, as well as supporting the class teacher. There are also roles available to work with SEN children on a 1:1 basis. By being a teaching assistant, you should possess good behaviour management skills and hit the ground running by building up those relationships with pupils as well as staff.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. As the schools are recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role. However, do not let this put you off applying as we are always receiving new roles. SEN experience would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a highly competitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will become an integral part of a welcoming team of TA's. You will therefore have the opportunity to further develop your own teaching assistant skills and experience.
A dedicated consultant will always be on hand should you have any questions or concerns.
