⭐ About the Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils. Every day brings something different—whether you’re helping deliver creative lessons, offering targeted support to individual learners, or assisting with engaging activities that inspire curiosity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering fun, engaging, and effective lessons
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to children who may need extra guidance
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, active learning environment
- Prepare and organise lesson materials to enhance classroom learning
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring every child is included
- Get involved in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant training or certifications
- Experience working with KS2 pupils
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
- Knowledge of SEN strategies is desirable but not essential.
