We are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school setting in Preston. You will be supporting pupils aged 11–19 years with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), primarily Generic Learning Difficulties (GLD), as well as associated needs such as autism, speech and language challenges, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and sensory-based activities.
- Support pupils’ emotional well-being and positive behaviour strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to implement EHCP targets.
- Encourage independence and social interaction in a safe, nurturing environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEND pupils, ideally GLD and SEMH.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to supporting learning and personal development.
Benefits:
- Competitive daily rate.
- Opportunity to make a real difference in a specialist setting.
