Job Location: Cheshire East
The School: SEMH/SEND primary and secondary
Job Pay: £90 – £110 per day
Start Date: 17th November
Essential requirement: Due to rural location you must have access to a vehicle. There is no bus route, and the nearest public transport is over two miles away via unlit country lanes.
The Job:
The Role: Supporting Teachers within the main school nurture class, Year 7's who struggle emotionally , may require more support for self esteem and building friendships.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30 (non-negotiable)
Duration: Until Christmas, with potential to move to a temp-to-perm contract
The School: A specialist primary and secondary school supporting children with autism and associated social and communication needs in a bespoke and nurturing environment.
The specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists and educationalists work seamlessly together. They teach and proactively support children who have been subjected to adverse childhood experiences, including trauma, toxic stress and associated mental wellbeing difficulties, aiming to break the cycle of adversity.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with complex needs is essential
Teaching Assistant qualification
A psychology or education degree or relevant experience is desirable
Candidates must be resilient and skilled in building relationships
