Positions Available:

  • 3 x Primary Mentors & Teaching Assistants
  • 3 x Secondary Mentors & Teaching Assistants
Location: Willenhall
Start Date: Immediate or by mutual agreement
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

About the Setting: This nurturing and inclusive alternative provision supports children and young people who require a tailored approach to education outside of mainstream settings. The team is committed to helping pupils re-engage with learning, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for future success.
The Role: We are looking for passionate, resilient, and committed individuals to join the team as Mentors and Teaching Assistants. You will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their personal and academic development
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
  • Support behaviour management strategies and promote a calm, respectful learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the wider life of the setting and its inclusive ethos
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in SEN, PRU, or pastoral roles
  • A calm, empathetic, and patient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable learners
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., TA Level 2/3, mentoring, youth work) are desirable but not essential
