Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Hays Education are currently working to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging environment where all pupils can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
- Working with small groups and individual pupils
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and student engagement
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a school or education setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, supportive and adaptable approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in their education
