Teaching Assistant – Therapeutic Pathway (RAISE)
Location: SK12 area (vehicle required)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until Christmas, with potential for temp-to-perm

Your New Job
You will be joining a dedicated therapeutic provision supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with complex needs, including emotionally based school non-attendance (EBSNA), trauma-related challenges, and autism. The RAISE Therapeutic Pathway offers a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where pupils re-engage with learning at their own pace. Your role will involve building trusting relationships, supporting individualised learning plans shaped by the pupil's voice, and helping students develop emotional security and confidence. This is a full-time role with fixed hours (08:30–16:30), and candidates must be available for the full duration of the school day. The position is initially until Christmas, with the possibility of transitioning to a temp-to-perm contract.

Your New Company
Hays Education is working in partnership with a specialist school located in a rural area. The school is known for its innovative and therapeutic approach to education, particularly through its RAISE Pathway. Staff wellbeing and professional development are key priorities, with CPD offered three times a week and dedicated wellbeing sessions every Friday afternoon. Activities include yoga, pickleball, badminton, football, and Dungeons & Dragons. The school provides free meals throughout the day and has free onsite parking. Due to its remote location (postcode SK12 2AP), candidates must have access to a vehicle, as there is no public transport within walking distance.
