Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and picturesque primary school in Shropshire, set within beautiful surroundings and offering a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and pupils.
Your new role
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join this friendly school on a full-time, ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is a varied and rewarding role, which includes:
- Mornings: Supporting teaching and learning within a mixed Year 2/3 class
- Afternoons: Providing support across a range of classes throughout the school in both KS1 and KS2
You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ progress, delivering interventions, and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Experience supporting pupils in KS1 and/or KS2
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning across different year groups
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred, but not essential.
