Your new role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and complex learning needs, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development while working closely with teachers and wider school staff.
What you'll need to succeed
- Have previous experience in a SEND or classroom support role (schools experience is desirable but not essential)- Have transferable experience from care, nursing, healthcare, youth work, social care or mental health support
- Are patient, resilient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs
- Are looking for flexible work or longer‑term opportunities within education
