Your new company

Hays Education is working with a welcoming high school in Accrington to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support a small class of students who are still working at a primary level. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development.

Your new role

You will:

  • Support a small group of students who are being taught by a primary-trained teacher.

  • Provide tailored assistance to help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and individual learning plans.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
