A primary school in West Kirby is seeking a committed and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join their team and support learning in Year 4. The school offers a welcoming environment and is dedicated to helping pupils thrive both academically and socially.

Your new role
You will be working as a general class Teaching Assistant within a Year 4 classroom, supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities, small group work, and individual pupils where required. The role involves helping to maintain a positive learning environment and supporting pupils’ engagement and progress across the curriculum.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible and continuing on a long-term basis for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
Experience supporting children within Key Stage 2 (particularly Year 4)
A proactive, flexible, and confident approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
A DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
