Early Years Teaching Assistant – Wirral Nursery Setting

Hays Education is working with a welcoming and well-regarded nursery setting in the Wirral to recruit Early Years Teaching Assistants who can make a meaningful impact in a vibrant learning environment.
Your new role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s development through play-based learning and structured activities. You’ll work closely with nursery staff to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive space for young learners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children’s learning and development across EYFS
- Assisting with daily routines and activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Helping manage behaviour and promote positive interactions
- Contributing to a warm, engaging, and child-centred environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience working with children in an early years setting
- A relevant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in EYFS or Childcare)
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
