Temporary SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Wallasey
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Wallasey on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful candidate will work across the primary age range, providing dedicated support to pupils with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN.
Assist in creating and delivering inclusive learning activities.
Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to meet individual needs.
Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
No formal qualifications required – relevant experience is essential.
