Teaching Assistant | Flexibility | Up to £115 Per Day

Hays Education is recruiting experienced Supply Teaching Assistants to work on a temporary basis across a range of primary schools. This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who are flexible, reliable, and confident supporting children across different classroom environments.
Assignments can range from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, depending on school needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Working with individuals or small groups under the direction of the class teacher
  • Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
