Your new role
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
- Providing targeted support to individual pupils and small groups
- Helping to create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assisting with phonics, early reading, and early maths activities
- Supporting children with personal, social, and emotional development
- Contributing to the smooth running of the classroom and wider school routines
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What you'll need to succeed
- Have experience working with EYFS or KS1 children
- Are patient, caring, and committed to helping young learners thrive
- Can work flexibly as part of a supportive team
- Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Are reliable, organised, and ready to get stuck in
- Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one through us
