Teaching Assistant job, Shropshire, full-time Year 3/4, competitive rate, immediate start

Location: Shropshire
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Start Date: Monday 15th June (or as close as possible)
Duration: Fixed-term (until the end of the academic year)

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working full-time within a mixed Year 3/4 class, supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Your role will involve:
  • Providing in-class support to pupils across a range of abilities
  • Assisting with small group work and targeted interventions
  • Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Supporting pupils’ academic and social development
  • Contributing to classroom preparation and organisation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with primary-aged children is highly desirable
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but not essential
  • A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
