Ready to make a real impact in a classroom this September? Hays Education is working with a range of fantastic secondary schools looking for confident, committed Behaviour Teaching Assistants to support teachers and help students thrive.

You’ll be the calm, steady presence in the room — supporting learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping young people stay on track. If you’ve already worked as a TA in a school setting, you’ll know exactly how rewarding (and lively) this role can be.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting teachers in managing behaviour and engagement
Working 1:1 or with small groups to keep students focused
Helping create a positive, structured learning environment
Building strong relationships with pupils who need that extra encouragement

What we’re looking for:

Previous TA experience in a school (essential)
Confidence in behaviour management
A patient, resilient, team‑focused approach
Someone who genuinely enjoys supporting young people

These roles start in September, run long‑term, and often lead to permanent school contracts throughout the year.
