Teacher of the Deaf Part-Time

Role: Teacher of the Deaf
Location: Brighton
Contract: Part-Time – 3 Days per week
Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are seeking a part-time qualified Teacher of the Deaf part-time to join the team. This role offers flexibility while remaining fully immersed in teaching within a bilingual BSL environment.

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (essential)
  • Confident use of British Sign Language
  • Experience teaching Deaf learners

While BSL training is available to staff, a solid existing level of BSL is essential due to it being the first language of most pupils.
