Teacher of Science - Secondary School Job - Enfield - September 2026

Your new company

Hays Education are working with a well-established secondary school in Enfield to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Science. The school has a strong focus on inclusion, student progress, and high standards of teaching and learning, offering a supportive environment for both staff and students.

Your new role

You will be teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach your specialism at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will join a collaborative department, delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity and achievement in Science.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3–KS4 essential)
  • Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics (KS5 desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
