Science supply Teacher, Chesterfield

Position: Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Chesterfield
Start Date: November 2025
Duration: Until Christmas, with possible extension

Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

The role:
  • Teaching all three sciences across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
  • Supporting students to achieve their full potential in science
  • Contributing to the wider school community and departmental development
You will need to be/have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to raising attainment and fostering a love of science
