Secondary Science Teacher – Inspire, Engage, Transform Lives

We are looking for a Secondary Science Teacher for a well-established, mixed secondary school with a thriving sixth form, serving over 1,300 students aged 11–19.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Delivering engaging and differentiated science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Supporting students of varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Planning and delivering practical experiments in line with safety procedures.
  • Monitoring progress, providing feedback, and supporting academic achievement.
  • Building strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and carers.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for inclusive education and student development.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, and committed approach.
Experience working with SEN / SEMH students would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
