Job Title: Religious Education Teacher (Long Term Supply)
Location: Rotherham
Contract Type: Long Term Supply
Start Date: Easter 2025

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join our team on a long-term supply basis. This role involves providing high-quality education and support to Year 11 GCSE groups, helping them achieve their full potential in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective Religious Education lessons to Year 11 students.
  • Provide targeted support and intervention for GCSE groups to ensure academic success.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level, particularly with GCSE groups.
  • Strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
