About the Role
Hays Education is working in partnership with a 'Good' rated secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a long-term supply position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community, delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with UK teaching experience
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment.
  • Flexibility and commitment to the role of a long-term supply teacher.
