About the Role
Hays Education is working in partnership with a 'Good' rated secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a long-term supply position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community, delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, track, and monitor student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with UK teaching experience
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment.
- Flexibility and commitment to the role of a long-term supply teacher.
