Hays Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded independent school in Lewisham to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths for a permanent position commencing in September.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and well-resourced Mathematics department within a school that is renowned for its strong academic standards, excellent student behaviour, and commitment to educational excellence.
Your new role
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and, where appropriate, Key Stage 5. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students, promote a love of learning, and support high levels of academic achievement.
The school is seeking a passionate practitioner who can make a positive contribution to an already successful department and help students achieve their full potential.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
- The ability to plan and deliver outstanding lessons
- High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
