Teacher of Humanities

A fantastic Humanities Teacher opportunity is available in a vibrant Huddersfield secondary school, working in partnership with Hays Education

A passionate, UK‑qualified Humanities specialist is required from 23 February 2026, initially until Easter, with strong potential to extend until the end of the academic year.

This role is paid to scale and offers the chance to join a supportive, forward‑thinking department that values curiosity, critical thinking, and cultural understanding

What we’re looking for
  • A UK‑qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS)
  • Recent UK teaching experience within the last 3 years
  • Confident delivery across Humanities subjects at KS3–KS4
  • Someone enthusiastic, organised, and committed to inspiring young learners
