Part-Time French & Spanish Teacher (0.6 FTE)
Start: ASAP | Contract: Until the end of the academic year
Location - Hailsham

Hays Education are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary academy to recruit a French & Spanish Teacher on a 0.6 basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate languages specialist looking for a part-time role within a supportive and well-structured environment.

The Role
You will be joining a collaborative and established Modern Foreign Languages department, delivering French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. The department is well-resourced, values high-quality teaching and learning, and places a strong emphasis on developing students’ confidence and enthusiasm for languages.

Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in French and Spanish
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Contributing to a positive learning environment that supports student achievement
- Working effectively with colleagues within the MFL department

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
