Part-Time Teacher of English Required from January 2025

Part-Time English Teacher – Key Stage 3 & GCSE
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing

We are working with a highly regarded secondary academy in Crowborough that has recently been recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, ambitious school community on a part-time basis, teaching English across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

The Role
Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to students in KS3 and GCSE.
Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure excellent progress and attainment.
Inspire students to develop a love of literature and language.
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of teaching and learning.

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language.
Experience teaching at KS3 and GCSE level.
A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
