Your new company
We’re working with a creative independent school in the Tewksbury area that are looking to appoint an Art & Photography Teacher to join their Art & Media faculty. The school has excellent facilities, including a darkroom and digital editing suite, and encourages students to explore photography as both an art form and a storytelling tool.
Your new role
You’ll be teaching Photography at KS4 and KS5, helping students develop technical and conceptual skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons in digital and traditional photography
- Supporting students with coursework and portfolio development
- Encouraging experimentation and critical reflection
- Organising exhibitions and creative showcases
What you'll need to succeed
- QTS and experience teaching Photography or Art in UK secondary schools
- Strong knowledge of photographic techniques and editing software
- A passion for visual storytelling and student creativity
