Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing, structured environment? A welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of ARP to join their team from September to Christmas.
About the Role
You’ll be working within a well‑established Additional Resource Provision (ARP) that supports approximately 20 students across Years 7–11. The provision is calm, well‑resourced, and highly valued within the school community.
This role is ideal for:
- SEN specialists who love creating inclusive, personalised learning
- Primary‑trained teachers who enjoy small‑group teaching and holistic development
- Teachers who thrive in supportive, close‑knit environments and want to make a meaningful impact every day ❤️
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
- Working closely with support staff and the SENCO
- Creating a positive, structured learning environment
- Supporting social, emotional, and academic development
- Building strong relationships with students and families
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience in SEN or primary teaching
- A calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach
- Someone who believes every child deserves to succeed
