Tax Partner opportunity with an award-winning, leading independent firm of tax advisors

Your new company

Our client is an award-winning, independent firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax Advisors, and Business Consultants with offices in Manchester and London. With over 50 years of experience, the firm is proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading tax advisory firms and has previously been named Best Tax Advisory Firm in the UK.
Its team is at the heart of everything they do; investing in its people, offering a dynamic and supportive environment where professionals can thrive. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, personalised service to a diverse client base, the firm is now looking to expand its leadership team with the appointment of a Tax Partner.

Your new role

As a Tax Partner, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing our tax advisory services. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape the strategic direction of the tax department, while also managing a portfolio of high-value clients across a range of sectors including property, manufacturing, technology, and professional services.
  • Leading complex tax advisory projects, including corporate restructuring, M&A, international tax planning, and personal tax strategies
  • Building and nurturing long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Driving business development and identifying new opportunities for growth
  • Mentoring and developing the next generation of tax professionals within the firm
  • Collaborating with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining technical excellence

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Significant post-qualification experience in tax advisory, ideally at a senior management or partner level
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advice to owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A commercial mindset with a passion for business development and client service
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work across departments and offices

What you'll get in return

  • Flexible hybrid working and a modern, centrally located office
  • Generous annual leave, including a Christmas shutdown
  • Structured career progression and leadership development opportunities
  • Regular team social events and a supportive, inclusive culture
  • Competitive remuneration package with performance-based incentives
  • The opportunity to shape the future of a growing, award-winning firm
