Tax Manager job within a successful, national firm focusing on a client portfolio of owner-managed businesses.

Your new company

A tax manager opportunity has arisen within the West Midlands working for a growing National accountancy and advisory firm with a strong client base of SME clients. Working within an experienced tax team, you will look after a portfolio of clients to support their business needs. This is a firm committed to delivering exceptional client service, and you will be a key advisor for your clients – managing their tax affairs and building lasting relationships.

Your new role

In this role you will manage a portfolio of privately owned businesses. You will oversee their tax compliance requirements and will contribute to advisory projects – often taking into consideration how their business and personal tax concerns intersect. You will work with experienced colleagues within a successful team. In this role, you will build strong client relationships and drive revenue and efficiency. You will have opportunities to develop and support more junior members of the team and will have access to excellent technology and benefit from smart working practices. This is a role ideally suited to an individual who can combine technical tax expertise with developing, building and managing excellent client relationships, clear leadership skills and commercial awareness.


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must possess relevant accounting and/or tax qualifications (ACA/ ACCA/ CTA) alongside solid tax experience gained within an accountancy practice. You will have worked with business owners across a range of sectors to support with personal and corporate tax matters and will be a proactive individual with a strategic approach to identifying opportunities and driving growth.
