Private Client Tax Manager Role within well-established independent firm in South Birmingham

Your new company

South Birmingham independent firm seeking to hire a personal tax specialist to manage a varied portfolio which includes HNWIs and trusts. Ideal role for an individual with a strong personal tax background looking to work in a supportive, well-structured firm with excellent staff retention.

Your new role

Working closely with clients and with colleagues within the firm, you will manage the private client tax processes within the firm and will help further develop tax opportunities within the practice. Whilst there will be a requirement to prepare complex tax returns and review the work of more junior members of the team, you will also support clients with tax planning work and further develop advisory services. The ability to support clients with matters associated with trusts would be beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent personal tax experience - ideally with experience and knowledge of trusts. Relevant accountancy and/or tax qualifications (ATT/ CTA/ ACA/ ACCA) would be beneficial. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work to deadlines and manage your own workload effectively, as well as being able to work well with others. You will be keen to further your tax career and will have a real opportunity to develop the tax offering within this firm.
