Your new role

As a Tax Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting clients and advisers with personal tax compliance matters. Your responsibilities will include preparing annual self-assessment tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, handling queries from HMRC and clients and researching tax legislation. You will also be responsible for safeguarding client data and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need:
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- A good working knowledge of the UK self-assessment tax system
- The ability to process financial and legal information accurately and efficiently
