I am working with a local council to recruit a talent & learning officer. This is an interim position for an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to join the Talent, Learning & Early Careers Team within a local council.

I am looking for individuals that share a passion for development and are looking to appoint several roles within the team looking at different areas of responsibility.
The areas we want the roles to cover are:
  • Early talent – development of our internal talent through Early Careers including Apprenticeships, Graduates, Work Experience and placements. Looking at career pathways and organisational agility and transferable skills for our workforce.
  • Performance development – to enhance our mechanisms to support the council to become a performance organisation.
  • Learning & development – commissioning and design of learning programmes.
About you
  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • We are looking for passionate individuals who want to work with the already established team to drive our future talent.
