Key Responsibilities
- Lead Tai Chi sessions for individuals and groups across varying skill levels
- Design safe, effective, and progressive class plans tailored to participant needs.
- Demonstrate proper form, technique, and breathing methods
- Offer modifications and support for participants with different physical abilities
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees
- Maintain current certifications, including CPR/AED
- Manage basic administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and scheduling
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to participant enquiries
- Adapt lessons for both in-person and online formats as needed
- Proven experience teaching Tai Chi or related movement practices
- Certification in Tai Chi instruction (preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants
- Comfortable with technology for virtual instruction and class management
