Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering targeted support through one-to-one sessions, small-group interventions, and assisting teachers with whole-class activities. You will help students build confidence, close learning gaps, and engage fully in their lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver focused 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs
• Lead small-group interventions to reinforce key concepts
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, resource management, and behaviour support
• Observe and record student progress, reporting back to teachers and the SENCO
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support whole-class activities, from setting up equipment to supervising workstations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role
• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE Diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with students of all abilities
• Organised, flexible, and able to adapt to varying daily schedules
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
