Syndicate Credit Controller

Your new company
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing international insurance group with operations in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the US. As part of their continued expansion, they are strengthening their credit control function and seeking a Syndicate Credit Controller to join the London office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Lloyd’s market expertise who is ready to take ownership of aged debt management while collaborating with global teams.

Your new role
In this role as Syndicate Credit Controller, you will oversee aged debt across multiple syndicate entities and play a key part in supporting the financial operations of a newly established Lloyd’s branch in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager, you’ll work closely with colleagues across international offices to drive collections, nurture broker relationships, and provide vital support to underwriting teams. This is a hands-on position with strong visibility across the organisation, offering the chance to engage with multiple stakeholders and make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reduce aged debt across syndicate entities
  • Oversee cash receipts and credit control for the Singapore branch
  • Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to resolve outstanding balances
  • Attend underwriting meetings and broker reviews to strengthen relationships
  • Support the Credit Control Manager with reporting and operational tasks
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in credit control, ideally within the Lloyd’s or wider insurance market
  • Strong knowledge of aged debt reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across international teams
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency and familiarity with Xchanging
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment
What you'll get in return
  • Be part of a dynamic, expanding international organisation
  • Gain valuable cross-border experience working with global teams
  • Join a supportive culture that prioritises professional growth and career progression
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Real opportunity to make an impact and advance within the business
