Your new company

Our parenting housing assessment service provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for families undergoing parenting assessments. We work in close partnership with mothers and their children to ensure that each family receives a fair, compassionate, and evidence-based assessment.

The safety and welfare of the child are always paramount. While we support parents throughout the assessment process, our primary focus remains on the child’s wellbeing and long-term care planning.

Your new role

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to families. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each family receives individualised support tailored to their needs, abilities, and backgrounds.

  • Supporting parents in developing safe and effective parenting skills
  • Observing and recording parent-child interactions in line with assessment frameworks
  • Promoting a nurturing and structured environment that prioritises child safety
  • Working collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, and other agencies
  • Contributing to assessment planning through accurate, objective record-keeping

What you'll need to succeed

  • Compassionate, non-judgemental, and emotionally resilient
  • Experienced in working with vulnerable families, children, or within safeguarding settings
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries and work within a regulated framework
  • A strong communicator with excellent observational and report-writing skills
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
