About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll work in a range of primary school settings, supporting pupils from Early Years through to Key Stage 2. You’ll play a vital role in helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom—whether assisting with phonics, reading groups, creative activities, or one-to-one support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils’ learning and emotional development across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, preparation, and behaviour management
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and pupil needs.

- Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
