YOUR ROLE AS A SUPPLY TEACHER
- Classroom Leadership: In the absence of the regular teacher, you’ll take charge of the classroom. Deliver lessons based on plans left by the class teacher.
- Marking and Feedback: Ensure student progress by marking books and providing relevant feedback.
- Behaviour Management: Observe student behaviour and enforce the school’s behavioural policy.
- Reporting: Report any safeguarding issues promptly to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL).
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or ECT: You should have experience teaching within the last 5 years.
- Familiarity with Primary School National Curriculum: Adaptability to different year groups and teaching methods.
