Your new school
We work exclusively with a single-form entry primary school in Wolverhampton, set in extensive grounds that provide a wealth of opportunities for learning and sporting activities. This school's vision is for every child to be inspired by an enriching and challenging learning journey that is enjoyable and relevant for the future. The school has a holistic nature, promoting positive mental health and well-being, and they focus on enhancing the life skills, social skills and cultural awareness of their children.

Your new role
As a supply teacher, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role may include:
  • Providing daily supply cover, or ongoing/long term supply teaching (on a full or part-time basis)
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • A varying element of planning, in some cases, where the teaching cover is ongoing/long-term
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment
  • Adapting quickly to different school settings and routines
  • Providing feedback to school staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
  • Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day

What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in children's lives
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and routines
  • A positive, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • 2 recent school references

What you'll get in return
  • Flexible daily, short-term and long-term supply roles
  • Work when you want to
  • Working for as long as you want to (daily supply teaching, or long-term/ongoing cover – full or part-time)
  • The opportunity to work full days, mornings and/or afternoons
  • Competitive rates of pay
  • Opportunities to work in a wide range of local primary schools within the WV10 and wider Wolverhampton area
  • Access to free professional development and training
  • Ongoing support from your dedicated recruitment consultant, who has over 17 years of experience of working with primary schools
  • The opportunity to move between short and long-term assignments
  • Your own growing pool of schools to work with, becoming a member of their extended staff teams
