Supply Teachers Rugby - Part-time and Full-time available

Your new company

At Hays Education, we partner with a wide range of primary schools across Rugby, supporting their staffing needs throughout Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. As we approach a busy post-half-term period, we’re looking to expand our supply team with passionate and adaptable KS2 teachers. Whether you're seeking short-term assignments, longer placements, or PPA cover, we’ll connect you with schools that appreciate your expertise. With our strong relationships across the local education sector, we’re well-positioned to offer roles that suit your availability and teaching style, whether you thrive on variety or prefer consistency.

Why choose Hays education?
- Competitive rates of pay: we value your expertise and commitment. As a supply teacher, you’ll receive competitive compensation ranging from £130 - £175 per day.
- If you’re an ECT, we encourage you to apply. We believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth.
- Flexible working options: whether your available day-day assignments or prefer long-term roles, we’ve got you covered. You can choose what suits your schedule best.
- Variety of roles: from covering sickness to PPA time, course cover, and more, our supply roles are diverse. Some may require planning, and if so, you’ll be compensated accordingly.

Your new role

- In the absence of a regular teacher, you’ll take charge of the classroom. Deliver lessons based on plans left by the class teacher.
- Marking and feedback: Ensure student progress by marking books and providing relevant feedback.
- Observe student behaviour and enforce the school’s behavioural policy.
- Report any safeguarding issues promptly to the designated safeguarding lead.

What you'll need to succeed

- Qualified Teacher status (QTS), PGCE or ECT: you should have experience teaching within the last 5 years.
- Familiarity with primary school national curriculum.
- Adaptability to different year groups and teaching methods.
- Passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning.

What you'll get in return

- Work with various schools and discover what suits you best.
- Flexible commitment: whether you can commit to one day per week or more, we welcome you!
- Referral Bonus: Know someone who’d be a great fit? Refer them to us and receive £250 in vouchers when you complete 20 days of supply.
- Holiday pay
