Are you a passionate secondary teacher looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? At Hays Education, we’re working in partnership with a number of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools across Wigan, and we’re currently recruiting supply teachers to support their short-term and day-to-day cover needs.

About the Role:
As a supply teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Work across a variety of secondary schools in Wigan
  • Choose the days you’re available – whether that’s one day a week or full-time
  • Deliver engaging lessons across different subjects (dependent on your specialism)
  • Maintain continuity of learning and support students in their educational journey

✅ What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (placements considered)
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability
  • A genuine passion for education and making a difference
