About the role
Hays Education is recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers for schools across Swindon and the surrounding areas. We’re seeking teachers from all subject backgrounds to support a growing number of secondary settings needing short‑term, day‑to‑day, and long‑term cover.
Whether you're available now, after Easter, or considering a September move — we can help you plan ahead.
What you'll do
- Delivering pre‑set lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
- Managing the classroom effectively
- Supporting students and maintaining progress
- Adapting quickly to different schools and subjects
What you'll need to succeed
- QTS and secondary teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- The right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- A flexible and positive approach
- ECTs welcome
