About the role
Hays Education is recruiting Qualified Secondary Teachers (QTS) for supply opportunities across a range of secondary schools in Cheltenham. We work closely with local schools who require reliable teachers for day‑to‑day cover, shorter block placements, and long‑term roles.

What you'll be doing
- Delivering pre‑planned lessons across KS3–KS4
- Maintaining a positive, focused classroom environment
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students’ learning and progress
- Adapting confidently to new settings and subjects
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- UK secondary teaching experience (placements accepted for ECTs)
- Strong behaviour management
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- ECTs encouraged to apply
