English Teacher (Fixed-Term)

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary academy in Birmingham on a fixed-term basis from January 2026 until August 2026.

The Role
•Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
•Inspire students to develop a love of literature and language
•Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
•Assess, track, and support student progress in line with academy policies
•Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Candidate Requirements
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
•Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
•Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
•Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
•Excellent communication and organisational skills
•All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
