Role: Supply Chain Manager

About the company:

We’re supporting a global pharmaceutical business with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee secondary distribution and drive operational excellence across their regional network.

Your new role:

You’ll be responsible for ensuring product availability at the right time, cost, and quality. You will be managing logistics, distribution, inventory, and demand planning across UKIE. This role plays a key part in supporting commercial goals, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high service levels and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, transportation, import/export, and customer service
  • Driving forecast accuracy through local S&OP planning and supporting product launches and discontinuations
  • Leading inventory optimisation and shelf-life management to minimise waste and improve availability
  • Acting as the operational point of contact for 3PLs and global supply teams, ensuring KPI adherence
  • Supporting compliance with GDP and internal audit standards, maintaining documentation and SOPs
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects aimed at improving service levels and reducing costs

What you’ll need to succeed:

You’ll bring strong supply chain experience within a regulated or complex environment , with solid knowledge of logistics, inventory, and planning systems (SAP or similar). You’ll be confident working cross-functionally, with a proactive and analytical mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement.
