Join as a Supplier Management Team Lead within an FM Procurement Centre of Excellence

Our client is seeking a Supplier Management Team Leader to join their Procurement Centre of Excellence. You'll be the key driver of the supplier management strategy, driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, and engagement models to ensure alignment with business and customer objectives.

You'll work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to embed best practices, optimise supplier lifecycle and contract management, and track performance against strategic goals. Leading a team of Supplier Management professionals, you'll also contribute to specialist projects and shape the future direction of supplier management.

What are the main responsibilities?
  • Overseeing the Supplier Management Programme and Framework, ensuring robust governance and performance tracking.
  • Providing training, tools, and guidance to internal teams to support consistent supplier engagement.
  • Manage supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Undertake SMP audits
  • Be a driver in the use of AI tools within the Procurement function
  • Line manage a small team

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for a procurement professional with expertise in supplier management and a strong track record of managing complex contracts. You'll be a forward-thinking leader, skilled in stakeholder engagement and change management, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset. You will also have:
  • Experience with SAP, Coupa, and reporting tools is highly desirable.
  • A Facilities Management background would be ideal but not essential.
  • Have a big interest in AI and Automation within the workplace

What you'll get in return

In return, you receive a salary range of between £60,000 - £65,000 (DoE) plus a bonus based on KPI/Targets.
