Your new role
As Supplier & Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for managing several of the organisation’s most critical supplier contracts. As Supplier & Contracts Specialist, you will oversee supplier performance, ensure contract compliance, and support the delivery of essential technology services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Technology, Risk and Procurement, as well as other BAU teams, contributing to strategic supplier initiatives and helping shape the business' commercial environment.

Key responsibilities include maintaining supplier dashboards, analysing performance and risk data, supporting third-party spend tracking, and leading supplier meetings. You will also play a key role in interpreting software licences, managing contractual registers, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and audit expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in managing technology contracts and supplier relationships
  • Strong understanding of technology services including software, hardware, and infrastructure
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting data-driven insights
  • A recognised procurement or commercial qualification (e.g. CIPS Level 4) or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with risk management, audit processes, and supplier governance frameworks

Experience in public procurement, financial institutions, or regulatory environments is highly desirable, as is knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies would be desirable.
